Picture this: you wake up to the gentle rustle of leaves and the sound of the Indian ocean crashing against the shore. After a leisurely breakfast of croissants and coffee from Egberts Bakery (the best in town), it's time to embark on your wine lovers' journey through Margaret River.

Our first stop on this taste of luxury tour is to the friendliest cellar door in town, Redgate Wines, where we'll have the pleasure of meeting owner Ray Mouritz. Redgate is one of the oldest wineries in the region, and it holds a special place in my heart, not only because I used to work there, but for its exceptional Cabernet Franc. Prepare your palate for a truly unforgettable tasting experience!

For our second stop, we'll head to Cape Grace Wines, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Margaret River. Here, you'll have the opportunity to discover their exquisite range of wines and soak in the beauty of their barrel room and vineyard surroundings.

For our third stop, we'll head to Amelia Park, where we'll indulge in a tasting followed by a leisurely lunch. Sit back, relax and savour the flavours of Margaret River as you enjoy a delicious meal paired with Amelia Park's exquisite wines.

And last but certainly not least, we'll pay a visit to my friend Melissa at Cherubino Wines, where we'll have the pleasure of exploring their exceptional range of reds and whites. Cherubino is known for its dedication to producing wines of exceptional quality, and I can't wait to introduce you to their incredible selection.

But our journey doesn't end there. After a day of wine tasting and exploration, it's time to unwind and relax. Retreat to your luxurious accommodation, where you can soak in a hot bath overlooking the vineyards, or simply curl up by the fireplace with a glass of your favourite vintage and a solid wedge of cheese.
